The Lady Duffers’ Golf Association is a non-competitive, fun for all league. It was created for Briar Hill and Green Briar residents and has been extended to include surrounding areas of Alliston, when league space is available, providing encouragement, friendship and fun for golfers of all skill levels.

 

The rules of the golf courses we play at are to be respected. We welcome new members at any time during the year and look forward to seeing you on the links.

 

We play nine holes of golf most Monday mornings. Tee times are booked by our Co Captains on a weekly basis, for Monday morning starts at the Nottawasaga Golf Club. There are no games booked for holiday Mondays. Please check the Schedule weekly for upcoming games & events dates and locations (and any changes).

 

Normally, our season begins with an Opening Luncheon information meeting where items of special interest to members will be announced. It is also an opportunity to mingle and meet some of the ladies you will be golfing with this season...and to catch up with those members you already know.

A Closing Luncheon is normally held at the end of the season where gifts and prizes are awarded.

 

Information Social Get-Togethers [Bag Lunches} are held following the golf shotgun dates once a month in June, July, August and September at the Briar Hill Community Centre. This provides an opportunity for communication about the Lady Duffers’ Golf Association, socializing and fun. Bring your lunch and your score card [only group names are necessary on the card, first and last names]. Dessert and Coffee/Tea/Drinks will be provided by our monthly Bag Lunch Hostesses. If you can be a Bag Lunch Hostess and by providing a dessert, please contact our Bag Lunch Coordinator.​

The Executive of the LDGA reserves the right to annually review and limit the number of non-resident memberships. All registered members should follow the guidelines listed on the website on the Schedule & Information, Rules & Etiquette and Tee Times pages.
